Phillip joined Fringe Benefit Group in 2014 as Vice President of Finance after spending over a decade in executive and finance roles within the insurance industry. His extensive industry knowledge has helped FBG grow and expand its position as a market leader. In 2023, Phillip was promoted to Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer, where he oversees the company's financial operations and works alongside the executive team to develop and execute strategic initiatives. Prior to joining FBG, Phillip was the CEO and controlling shareholder of Employer Plan Services, Inc. a Third-Party Administrator that specialized in self-funded health plans and administration services for insurance carriers. It was acquired by Fringe Benefit Group in 2014. Previous to Employer Plan Services, Inc., Phillip was Controller of a regional third-party health administrator, where he oversaw the company's finance and accounting team. A Certified Public Accountant, Phillip began his career in the Audit & Assurance practice of KPMG, LLP after graduating from Southern Methodist University with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting.
